Continuing with the two previous meetings in the series held in Spain (Gijón 2018) and Japan (Kyoto 2019), it is our pleasure to welcome to the 3rd Japanese-Spanish Symposium on Organic Synthesis which will be held at the Donostia-San Sebastián Campus of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. This Symposium will bring together leading experts in the field from both scientific communities offering a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field, in a friendly setting for deep scientific discussion and exchanges of ideas. We encourage people working on, and interested in, any aspects related to chemical synthesis, from Hybrid Catalysis and Target-Oriented Synthesis to Mechanisms Investigation and so on, to present their results in the meeting either orally or submitting a poster. Young chemists are especially welcome, for whom truly accessible registration fee has been arranged along with a slot of grants.
